It's not uncommon for buildings, especially industrial buildings, to incur damage in the normal course of conducting business. Trucks backing up to dock doors or overhead doors, turning corners backing up... just getting a little too close and making contact, all these and more can cause unintentional damage to a metal building.
In addition, interior damage can be caused by forklifts and other vehicles that again can damage corners, building mechanicals like hot water heaters and so on can take a toll on a building opening the way for further deterioration.

TRANSFORMING A FIRE COMPANY ON A TIGHT BUDGET |
|
The Linglestown Fire Company in Linglestown, PA was formed circa 1934. As with most fire companies, it evolved over the years as the population grew and more services were needed. It built its current home in 1991, an
8-bay house. Fast forward 20 years and 2011 brought a real need to rebuild or refurbish. That's when Rose Metal Systems came into
the picture. Responding to an RMS ad in the Central Penn Business Journal, the fire company opted for Rose's experience and expertise to retrofit the existing building. The
20 year old metal building system had roof leaks and deteriorating insulation. The roof system had two panels from eave to ridge
with 4” faced insulation stapled at the seams. |

Snow retention systems had been improperly attached to the panel causing many leaks. The fire department wanted long term solutions to minimize maintenance in the future. We proposed a new standing seam roof panel spanning from eave to ridge with a high R Purlin Glide system and a new snow retention system that attaches to the roof panel seam with no penetrations.
In addition, the fire department wanted to brick the exterior full height at a substantial cost. RMS proposed a foam core wall panel that did not require significant reinforcing of the existing structure. The existing 36” wide through fastened wall panel and insulation were removed and a new 36” wide factory foam core 22 GA embossed exterior skin wall panels were installed. |

RENEWING A FIRE DAMAGED FACILITY |
|
The Wayneco Custom Kitchen & Cabinet Company in York, PA experienced an unfortunate equipment based fire resulting in smoke and related damage but didn't destroy the facility. RMS crews were called in to rehab the manufacturing plant ASAP. Rose met with the owners, established a quick plan of action and executed this to perfection. The company virtually got a brand new facility at a fraction of the cost. A new standing seam metal roof was employed over the entire plant, new insulation, wall coverings and other items comprised the turn-key package from RMS.
